Which do you prefer? A lie? or the Truth? Now really ask yourself this question. We are taught from a very young age that lies are wrong...yet we find them littered throughout our society, our government, and our way of life. I'm not being too picky here, because marketing and advertising must use this tactic of lying to lure us into their product. But isn't that exactly what we all crave? the product. Whether you are democrat, republican, or independent, our government has continuously used what they believe to be what we want to gain power...and the hilarious thing is...we give it to them...we give them POWER. Is that because we truly believe their message? Or is it because we WANT to believe their message? Either way, we let ourselves believe the lie. Why is that? Its because the masses prefer a lie than the truth. Now here's the real question...why is that? Its simple really...it boils down to the basic human need for...Hope. Hope is what makes us persevere, its what makes us persistent, and its what we want to believe is the future. We all hope for a better future and that's a fact.
But if you ask the ordinary individual if they prefer a lie to the truth...they'll almost always say they want the truth. Is that so? Its all a product that's being sold. Has there ever been an instance where that WASN'T the case? Lies and Truth are based on human perception and politicians have mastered the art of 'lying' to a point that there is 'some' truth in it. So why do we buy it. The same way be buy everything else. We're told that one retailer sells a product cheaper than another...so we go there. We're told that you'll save more here than there...so we go here. Why is that? Because we blindly believe the lie, because (and this is the most important aspect of my point) we'll save more...MONEY. That's what its all about. Our ideals now have a price tag, at the expense of our ignorance...and we buy it. And why shouldn't we? A person is intelligent, aware, and able to see the truth of things; PEOPLE, however, influence the masses and make them believe those 'lies'. The truth nowadays...is rare, but not entirely absent. So which do you prefer? the lie...or the truth?

What If?
What if? The two most dangerous words in the English language. We've all thought 'what if' before; what if I did this, what if I did that. These words mean more to people than most imagine. They are the past, the present, and the future. Without these words, our imagination would have faded out many, many years ago. Anyone who denies these words, are fooling themselves into thinking they are right where they want to be. The truth is, everyone wishes they could change something in their past...no one is exempt from this universal truth. We even use these words to imagine the future, because if there's one thing that's more uncertain than the future, its the present. We only ever utilize what's here and now, but hope that it leads to a better future. But the fact is, the future is impossible to comprehend. We base our lives on what we believe is right as of now, without ever having the sight to see beyond those decisions. Our minds create an incredible outcome from every decision we make, but we all know that's hardly the case most times. Don't get me wrong, sometimes good decisions lead to a good outcomes, but those people have never really received the message in my opinion.
There are so many potential outcomes to every decision, that all we ever do is make a decision based on the evidence in front of us at the time. Thus, its hard to see the potential failures of the future, and we as a race, have many in our brief history on this Earth. Nothing is left to chance...its how you play the game. But how does one play said game if there isn't a perception beyond our decisions? The hard truth is...Faith. We have faith in our ability to control our own destinies. But what's the difference between fate and destiny? Fate is what we control; its our ability to choose what we want, when we want it, and how we want it; its the illusion of whats in front of us at the time. Destiny, on the other hand, is out of our hands. There are things that influence our decisions, our development, our choices, that we have absolutely NO control over. This is what determines our outcomes; Fate vs. Desitiny...which do you believe in and why? I await your answers...til then...
